Applicant agrees to abide by and be subject to the following conditions of acceptance as an exhibitor or gift shop artist and in any and all Gallery at the VAULT show(s).

1. Products are original works of art and are of the same caliber as submitted to the jury.

2. Work is taken for a six to twelve month period on a trial basis.  Artists who generate no sales over that period of time will be subject to a review.

Exhibitors in the gallery and gift shop are requested to supply fresh artwork as pieces are sold or for a rotation of new work to replace unsold pieces within six to eight months.  The gallery reserves the right to remove pieces left longer than six months from the display area, at which time the artist will be notified. 

3. VAULT will retain a 40% contribution from the retail price of the artwork displayed in the gallery and gift shop area.   This contribution will be used to further VAULT’s commitment to provide life-long learning in the arts through our series of programs and lectures for the surrounding communities. 

4.  In cases where a sale is obtained through a buyer seeing an exhibitor’s work at

the gallery, the suggested contribution to the gallery will be 15%.

5. VAULT agrees to be open to the public at reasonable hours, and to conduct the gallery, its employees and officers in a professional manner. Gallery at the VAULT will promote its exhibitors with individual and group shows and events, as well as web-site information.

6. VAULT insures the premises of the gallery.  All other insurance will be the sole responsibility of the exhibitor.   If work is damaged while on display, VAULT will assume reasonable responsibility.

For craftspeople: a one-time set-up fee of $20.

For painters & photographers:  On occasion, a customer may request to bring a piece of artwork home on a trial basis.  We have formulated a policy allowing this for up to 2 days if the customer is local and up to 5 days if they live out of the area.  We will obtain credit card information prior to work leaving the gallery.
