Perry says, “I am excited about the show. Seeing all these paintings together makes me realize how much time I have spent painting a wide variety of places. This showing is like 100 postcards from around the world through the changing seasons.”
For Perry, painting consists of Drawing, Value, Color and Edges. He uses these elements in order to convey the light, mood and atmosphere. He attended the New England School of Art in Boston, the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence and studied printmaking at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Perry is a full-time artist living in Springfield, Vermont.
