I would like to introduce myself to you,I am Sharon Herrmann and have owned and operated “Only Silver” since 1984 when I began my own business. Before this I apprenticed under another silversmith in Manchester, Vermont and got my training. Each day is learning experience and through the years I have perfected my craft. I work mostly in sterling silver, but will also work with gold-filled and 14K gold metals.
All silversmithing , marketing, etc. is done by myself. Over the years I have improved on the quality and quantity of my jewelry. I feel the finished quality of my jewelry is the result of each piece being individually made and hand buffed for a clean high polish finish.
All stones are semi-precious that come from various parts of the world. Everything made is handcrafted from cutting, hammering, and soldering of wire and plate metal. I do not do any casting, making each piece unique.
My work has a light clean look that reflects the style of work I enjoy designing.
I sell my jewelry by wholesaling to shops in the USA primarily in New England area. I also do few retail shows each year to get a feel of what the public is looking for. My goal has been to keep the quality of my jewelry a high priority.
Board member of the Manchester and the Mountains Kiwanis club and Co-chair on an annual craft fair the club host every fall.
