She has studied with oil painters George Nick, Richard Sheehan, and Edward Mead who have also had an impact on the growth of her skill.
She has both taught and been very prolific and diversified in her own artistic pursuits throughout New England.  Her employment history has encompassed fields of graphic arts, illustration, teaching, pottery, and painting. As diversified as her art, her achievements have followed suit. You may view an extended biography and many galleries of her art on her website www.ngartsite.com
One of Griswold more major works in progress include a mural painting titled “Changes of the Seasons”. The mural was started in 1993 and is a multitude of panels spanning 68’ x 3’ in size. This work is still in progress.
Today, Griswold will continue her oil painting and design work,  using the landscape of the North Country as her subject. She will also continue to service through design work and teaching oils.  Her work is in continual expansion and progress.
